Chart notes
CAPT. CANDY saved ground setting the pace, drifted out nearing the three-sixteenths pole, responded when challenged by MUST BE LOVE nearing the eighth pole and maintained a safe advantage. MUST BE LOVE prompted the pace, moved up along the outside to offer a bid nearing the eighth pole but was unable to get by the winner in a good effort. ALPHA WHISKEY saved ground while being reserved off the pace, slipped through during the drive and finished in a mild rally. BROTHER SHOWTYME was allowed to settle while racing three-wide on the turn, came four-wide into the stretch, lost crop leaving the quarter pole, bid flattened out through the lane. BRIGHT FORECAST was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. TOUCHDOWN MONTAGE was forwardly placed early while racing between horses, came three-wide into the stretch and tired.
