Chart notes
CLOEY ATTACK pressed the early speed from just outside, was all out in the stretch, gained the advantage with sixty yards to go, was bumped near the wire but held sway. COOGAN broke a step slow and inward, bumping MISS TENA MARIE, was hustled along from outside, lost ground four wide through the bend, rallied the final furlong, vied for the lead with seventy yards left, lugged in some nearing the wire, bumped CLOEY ATTACK and came up short. SAPPHIRE NIGHTS broke alertly and soon had the inside, floated out some for the stretch run, widened command but began to wear down inside the last eighth. MISS TENA MARIE bumped from the rear at the break, raced in contention three wide but lacked the needed stretch rally.
