Chart notes
WEALTHY TEXAN away well and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, controlled the pace in the run down the backstretch, increased that lead through the final turn, and was never threatened late while proving best. VECTOR broke sharply and tracked the leader into the first turn while under snug restraint, held his position in the run down the backstretch, rallied from along the inside entering the final turn, and finished from along the rail in the drive while laying in late. NORTHERN FORCE away alertly and stalked the leaders through the first turn while racing just out from the rail, dropped back in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and closed two wide in he drive to garner a share. DIOCLES unhurried early while taking up slightly at the start, trailed the field in the run down the backstretch, launched his bid three out from the rail entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response late while finishing four wide in the drive. HORATIO settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, began to gain ground on the leader in the run to the final turn, rallied from along the inside through the turn, and finished from along the rail in the drive. AUGUST RAIN settled off the early pace while racing three wide in the run down the backstretch, carried on three wide into the final turn, but failed to make a late impact while finishing two out from the rail in the drive. PISCO tracked the leader in the run down the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but faded in the late stages.
