Chart notes
AIR JOCK hustled up to the lead heading into the first turn, led the way then came under some pressure from PANZER PRIDE mid-way up the backstretch, repelled bids late on the far turn, saved ground entering the lane, widened to a clear lead a furlong out then held late under driving finish. GO FOR IT settled nicely and rated off the top trio up the backstretch, waited briefly on the rail around the turn then came under a ride turning for home, tipped two wide for the drive and sustained a determined bid to the wire. PANZER PRIDE was forwardly placed around the first turn and applied pace pressure to AIR JOCK up the backstretch, was ridden along two wide in striking distance but could not reach the leader around the far turn, weakened off the top pair in the lane and just lasted for show. ITWASTHISBIG stalked three wide up the backstretch, chased three wide up close around the far turn, weakened off the top pair in the lane and got outnodded for show. DARYL'S BOLT trailed around the first turn then pulled up and vanned off.
