Chart notes
CALIPARI stalked the early leaders while racing in the four path, was outside of the second tier of competitors, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, circled the field through the turn, drew beside the leading set at the quarter pole, worked as a set of three entering the stretch, shook one, battled down the stretch side by side until the lights came on to high light the wire, when CALIPARI finally decided to go on and clear his rival for the win. BOLD COURAGE vied for the lead, took the early position and stalked the first fraction setter, drew beside after the half and worked as a set, was asked to rate, was joined at the quarter pole by a third rival, ensued in a three way battle, lost one but these two battled down the lane, in the end BOLD COURAGE just missed. BREAD WINNER stalked from the two path, inched for the lead at the half mile pole, rated, was joined by another rivals at the quarter pole, raced in between rivals, gave way. BAREFOOT SAMURAI arced off of the pace, trailed, traveled in the three path, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, circled the field through the turn in the five path, but maintained after that. GIST was off a bit slow, settled in hands off of the pace, raced on the rail, saved ground, launched a bid at the five sixteenth pole, improved, not enough. PRINCE OF GLORY raced off of the pace, traveled in the three path and in between rivals, shifted out into the five path entering the upper stretch but to no avail. LITTLE SOLDIER BOY was off in the middle of the field, raced in the three oath, chased the leaders. GOLD DECLARATION stalked, raced on the rail in the second tier, then tired.
