GENEVIEVE'S Z VA broke sharply from the gate and sprinted clear, rating on the lead, held command to the final yards and lasted under steady pressure. TOOLCAT broke sharply from the gate and angled in quickly to stalk the leader, held position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. ENSEMBLE (IRE) steadied in tight quarters into the first turn, tracked the leader, saved ground through the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room and lacked a late kick, finishing on equal terms with PEACE SEEKER. PEACE SEEKER steadied in tight quarters into the first turn, was allowed to settle, saved ground through the second turn, came three and four wide into the stretch, then closed through traffic to finish on equal terms with ENSEMBLE (IRE). SIDESWIPED well placed and outside, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and had a mild late gain. ANOINT unhurried, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned five wide into the stretch and had no rally.
