Chart notes
LATE IN THE GAME stalked the early pace from the two and three paths, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole and took the lead two deep at the quarter, dueled clear nearing the head of the lane and was kept alert in the drive. NOBALLSTWOSTRIKES took over and rated the pace inside, dug in to the challenge of Machen's Ridge leaving the half mile pole and cleared that one, but was met at the quarter pole, dropped back toward the eighth pole and settled for second. MARTIN MAN settled off the pace in the three path then eased out into the backstretch, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and dueled through the stretch for third. CANDY INVASION settled close off the rail, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. MACHEN'S RIDGE stalked two deep then challenged leaving the half mile pole, dropped back approaching the quarter and weakened at the rail on the far turn. INDIAN EMPIRE raced in the four path early on but was through after a half mile.
