Chart notes
KUPP stumbled at the start, was taken under a tight hold while behind horses early, established a good position behind the solo leader, was asked in the three path midway through the turn, rallied to the lead into upper stretch then drifted out some while moving clear, responded well under a right-handed crop in the final furlong and held under strong urging. HIGH STRIKE was hustled from the start, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, pursued the winner in the stretch, gained on that foe in the final sixteenth but missed while able to get the place. JESTER'S SONG settled off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths, advanced closer late on the backstretch, saved ground the turn, hugged the rail into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and willingly earned the show. CHARGER was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, went five wide on the turn and lacked the needed kick. ON THE COME UP broke out at the start, showed the way with a clear advantage, traveled around the turn in the two path, was headed into upper stretch and tired. ROCK THE WEEKEND was off slow and spotted the front several lengths, raced at the rear while ridden along, went two then three wide on the turn, angled out eight wide into upper stretch and was no factor.
