PATRON D'ORO dueled outside OIL CAN KNIGHT to the turn, cleared with three furlongs left to run and was kept to task through the lane. OIL CAN KNIGHT dueled for the lead from inside, lost touch with the winner at the three-eighths pole, chased two wide into the drive, churned on through the lane and proved second best. MOLTO VIVACE forwardly placed three deep, chased four wide leaving the turn, could not summon the needed rally but stayed on to secure the show. ESTABLISHED chased four deep up the backstretch, spun five wide into the lane and weakened. PACO'S PICO chased five deep into the turn, six wide into the stretch and weakened. ALPINE THUNDER trailed off the rail, raced two wide into the turn then moved inside, saved ground to the stretch and failed to menace.
