Chart notes
NEWPARK (IRE) dueled inside a rival up the backstretch, drifted out and bumped into the turn, inched ahead midstretch and drove clear in the furlong grounds. PERFECT D stalked in the two path into the turn, angled out and came four wide into the lane, bid three deep midstretch and was turned away by the winner. WHISKY MY GOD (ARG) dueled for the lead from outside, bumped entering the turn, fought to the eighth pole and faltered in deep stretch. ELUSIVE VIRTUE broke a step slow, sat off the pace, angled out around the bend and came four wide into the stretch and never threatened. HIGH PRESS bobbled leaving the gate, stalked three deep then angled leaving the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, steered out in the lane and weakened. AFTERNOON HEAT sat off the pace, saved ground along the rail through the turn and failed to menace.
