Chart notes
CARIMBA sent along to set the early pace and drew off the through the drive to be well clear while under steady handling. GOIN' GOOD chased from the outside of Carimba through the far turn, raced three deep in the drive, kept on but was no match for the winner. MINER'S QUEEN was sent along early from the inside, dug in late and kept on while racing near the rail. LINGUISTIC raced mid pack early on, was three to five wide in the lane and showed good late interest while racing from the outside. BABY NO WORRIES was off slowly, raced four wide around the far turn and never threatened. NEW BOSS dropped back off the early pace, raced four deep near the three sixteenths pole and had no response. READY FOR CHANGE coaxed along early, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and lacked a bid.
