Chart notes
BLACK BELT set the pace in the two path, was roused midway around the turn, inched clear under a drive passing the eighth pole, and was wrapped up late. MORGAN POINT brushed with an inner foe at the start, tracked along the rail received right handed cues early around the turn, angled out to the three path nearing the final sixteenth bumping an outer foe, and kept on for place. HAPPY RUNNER laid up close in the three path, tipped out to the four path under a drive turning into the lane, bumped with an inner foe near the final sixteenth, and evened out for show. HUNTER got pinched at the start, trailed in the two path and made no impact from said position down the stretch. GRAN RUNNER rated in the five path but was no factor around the six path down the lane. MIDNIGHT PRANKS chased in the four path but never threatened. FIRST TEAM bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced wellback in the five path and never menaced.
