Chart notes
SOUP SPOON was hustled early, had a slim lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch prevailed. BOUND LUCKY was in touch, saved ground on the turn and was up for place. C BY THE SEA was well back, trailed the field on the turn and rallied late. GUNZIG STINGER was in range and raced evenly on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch needed more. LIL GREEN MACHINE was up close and forced the pace on the turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch had nothing left. ROYAL BIZ showed speed from the inside and was a factor on the turn but faded in mid stretch. NAVAL OFFICER was away alertly but chased on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch failed to fire.
