ROUND OF APPLAUSE allowed to settle, moved up between rivals, steadied for racing room angling in saving ground through the second turn, was blocked, waited, got mid way of the turn, came through inside into the stretch, angled out, made a steady gain and edged up late. CONRADO sprinted away from the field early, increased his margin down the backstretch, then was caught late, and was clearly best of the rest. NIP OF BOURBON steadied into the first turn, was well placed inside, moved up on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the show. JUST PRAISE allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch, made a steady gain and missed the show. GLORIOUS TRIBUTE well placed and outside, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, came widest into the stretch and flattened out. GRAVE DANGER well placed and between, lost some ground two and three wide through the second turn, then faded into the stretch. BRYTON'S D J was no factor.
