UNION LEAGUE broke outward then saved ground, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail, dug in for the lead nearing mid-stretch, edged briefly clear then held on. MISS YOU AJAX was shuffled back at the start then saved ground, bid leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path, dug in leaving the turn and took second the final strides while gaining on the winner. CAJUN FUN took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail, was met mid-stretch then flattened later yards. COUNTRY CHARLIE stalked off the rail, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and flattened in the stretch. PLAYBOY ROY rounded the opening turn about the three path, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and could only close the gap in the lane. DANNY'S WINKSTER settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and weakened leaving the turn.
