Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. STRAIGHTOUTADUTTON set the pace on the inside, shook clear through the turn, stayed on when challenged at the furlong marker, edged further ahead late, then was outfinished. HE'S A GOOD DANCER well placed and outside, held position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch and flattened the final furlong. TEMPUS unhurried, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and got up for a share. CHOCOLATE PHILLING unhurried, moved up three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and faded the final furlong. SUMMER BOSS rated outside the leader, faded on the two path through the turn.
