Chart notes
ORESTES good position with a ground saving trip throughout, along in time. FUNSTRUCK saved ground to the stretch, tipped off rail with a late run. ICE VORTEX good speed from inside to the front, led to deep stretch, showed. ICE AXE never far back while off rail to far turn, no kick in the stretch. SOMOS chased pace to the half, stayed on evenly in the stretch run. SERPA never a real menace throughout. FLINT EAST WOULD broke awkwardly from the gate with no speed to far turn with a wide run and no late gain. ANCIENT MAN through early, dropped back readily thereafter.
