Chart notes
EGO MAN tracked the early pace towards the inside, eased out on the turn and was three wide nearing the quarter pole, was blocked and angled in nearing the upper stretch and made a inside bid leaving the turn and took over nearing the furlong marker and edged away to prove best, driving. COLONEL BOWMAN broke outwardly at the start, tracked the pace while four to three wide on the turn, kept EGO MAN in on the turn and then came five wide into the lane and finished willingly to gain the place award. SHACKS WAY set a pressured pace in the two path, then dueled for the lead on the turn and gave way grudgingly. NICHIREN pressed the early pace three wide, made a three wide bid on the turn to duel for command but came up empty in the lane.
