Chart notes
BARE BACK JACK stalked the early pacesetters, raced in close quarters leaving the backstretch in the three path, drove three wide into the stretch and narrowly prevailed. ESTIFRAAD saved ground early, cut the corner into the stretch, and was outfinished. THE BEAT trailed the field early, gained closer order nearing the last turn, and closed gamely to score show. COMMON KNOWLEDGE dueled for the early lead, inherited an advantage leaving the backstretch, and came up empty in the drive. BORKAN stalked the dueling pacesetters while three to four wide, and lacked a closing response needed. AMUSING WAY contested the lead inside of COMMON KNOWLEDGE and tired early.
