NEIGHNEIGH settled well off the early pacesetter while saving ground along the inside entering the backstretch, rallied smartly two wide entering the final turn, steadied while running up on heels midway through the turn, shifted three wide leaving the turn, and closed with a rush four wide in the drive to get up in the closing strides. ADDENDUM settled off the early pace while saving ground entering the backstretch, launched her bid two wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly two wide in the drive while taking the narrowest of advantages in deep stretch, but was unable to fend off the late surge by NEIGHNEIGH in the final strides. BELCARRA PARK rushed to a clear lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch, maintained a clear advantage into the final turn, and just failed to last, while proving clearly best of the rest. QUALITY COMMAND away well and was allowed to settle off the early leader while racing two out from the rail entering the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, was pushed four wide leaving the turn, and finished evenly in the drive. HOAX away alertly and stalked the pacesetter into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. KAPALUA CANDY broke sharply and stalked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, maintained her position in the run to the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong. EBONY EYES was bumped solidly at the start, and trailed the field into the first turn, was always well back and never a factor. Following the running of this race there was a jockey's claim of foul. The rider of QUALITY COMMAND lodged a claim of foul against the rider of NEIGHNEIGH, for alleged interference leaving the final turn. After review the claim of foul was disallowed, and no change was made to the original order of finish.
