Chart notes
COUTH sent clear set the pace drawing off on the far turn proving much the best. CONFESSOR raced evenly rallying while in close on the far turn emerging in upper stretch chasing rival to wire. ESCAPE VELOCITY tracked the pace racing evenly the final half mile. DYRDEK stalked the pace chasing to upper stretch weakening there. APPRAISAL saved ground being in tight and forced to steady near the three eighths pole. STRIKE THE TOP played no factor. EXECUTIVE PRIZE folded up early. COMMANDER KEITH in close at the break labored well back. AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF APPRAISAL AGAINST THE RIDER OF CONFESSOR FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE THREE EIGHTHS POLE WAS DISMISSED BY THE STEWARDS.
