OAT MILK LATTE tracked the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, advanced along the backstretch run and was well placed approaching the half-mile marker, mounted an inside bid along the far turn, tipped two wide into the stretch, split runners in upper stretch and vied for the lead approaching the furlong grounds, responded to urging and took command at the sixteenth-marker, held SMOKEMS TAPHOUSE at bay into deep stretch and kept to task to the wire to prove best. SMOKEMS TAPHOUSE settled away from the start and came two wide into the first turn, improved position along the backstretch run and was steered two wide into the far turn, mounted a four wide bid into the lane, loomed at mid-stretch and took a narrow lead at the furlong marker, fought back against OAT MILK LATTE into deep stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and was clear of the rest for second. JAZZY LOVE was allowed to settle and saved ground into the first turn, saved all of the ground through the backstretch run and maintained her rail trip into the far turn, gained ground at the quarter pole, tipped two wide for the stretch drive and continued to advance at the furlong marker, was outkicked by the top two in the late stages and ran on in the final sixteenth to get up for third. TEN THE SMART WAY was forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the solid early pace while two wide along the first turn, advanced on FEELING FLUSH nearing the half-mile marker, continued to improve position into the far turn and pressed while two wide at the quarter pole, shifted out a path into upper stretch and took command into the drive, was confronted by the top pair at the furlong marker, was overtaken and could not match strides into deep stretch, tired late and was outfinished for third. KITTEN'S KID tracked the solid early pace from a three wide position, was keen into the backstretch run and gained ground heading to the half-mile marker, chased three then four wide heading to the quarter pole, dropped back into upper stretch and weakened. FEELING FLUSH broke alertly and assumed command leaving the start, sped to the early lead and drew clear into the backstretch run, rated through solid fractions along the backstretch run, came under pressure along the far turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong.
