Chart notes
SHPILKES settled off the pace, advanced inside, angled out in the final sixteenth then wore down the pacesetter late. LAYTOWN controlled the pace to the final stages repelling challenges, remained clear until late and was nailed at the wire. PREDOMINATE trailed far behind, bid on the final turn and closed well. ROMAN EMPIRE made a menacing inside move after half a mile then weakened in the final furlong. LOUIE'S LAW dropped far behind then passed rivals without menacing. NOTABLE EXCEPTION prompted the pace inside for three quarters and gave way. BIG BEEMSTER bid closer three wide after half a mile and faltered. HIT ME I'M LUCKY dropped far behind and was always outrun. THTWASTHENTHISISNW was urged close up for half a mile and stopped abruptly. DREAM BIG DREAMS moved close up wide on the first turn then stopped losing contact with his field.
