Chart notes
INVEIGLED broke alertly to make the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, responded to the whip in mid stretch and eagerly pulled away. TRAILING MONSTER lacked speed, worked between horses on the turn, swung to the four path in upper stretch, rallied outside horses and was reported by the stewards to have bled. NAPTOWN advanced three deep leaving the turn to reach a striking position then flattened out. GOODBYE NOTE raced along the inner rail throughout, had a mild move to the eighth pole and lacked the necessary rally. REMEMBER THE NAME , along the inner rail most of the trip, failed to be a factor and passed tired foes. EL DIVINO NINO broke slowly, circled the turn four wide and weakened. OUR LEGAL TENDER prompted the pace outside the winner and faltered in upper stretch. SQUARE SLICE chased the pace racing in the two path on the turn and faltered.
