Chart notes
JOSH'S HONOR tracked the pace, moved up to gain a short lead through the turn, shook clear into the stretch, then lasted under steady pressure. GOVERNOR ATWOOD well placed between, moved up two and three wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch, closed fast late and missed. VOORHEES unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, angled in and closed well for the show. BOSS HOLIDAY well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch and evened out. BLAME B B well placed and outside, gained position on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and flattened out. SPIRITED DEBATE sprinted away from the field in the early going, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then faded the final furlong.
