Chart notes

SHARONA'S WILD BOY broke alertly and was sent to the early lead, was engaged by ELCONDOR and disputed the quick early pace with that rival heading into the turn, rated entering the turn and tracked while saving ground heading to the quarter marker, re-bid in upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong pole, dueled with ELCONDOR into the final sixteenth and took command in deep stretch, dug in and kept to task to the finish to prevail. ELCONDOR broke in at the start and bumped WESTERN CAPE, was hustled to be prominent in the early running and disputed the solid early pace with SHARONA'S WILD BOY, shook free of that rival entering the turn and rated along the bend to carve out moderate fractions at the quarter marker, was confronted by SHARONA'S WILD BOY in upper stretch and battled with that rival to the furlong grounds, dueled into the final sixteenth, was held at bay in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for second. WORTH LOOKING broke a step slowly away from the start and was allowed to settle early on, raced two wide into the turn, was roused four wide into the stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker, was not able to impact the top two in the final sixteenth but closed well and was up in time to secure third. THREEBROTHERS stalked the solid early pace while outside of rivals, mounted a three wide bid approaching the quarter marker, could not sustain his bid into the stretch, flattened out in the late stages and was outfinished for third. WESTERN CAPE was bumped at the start and was off a step slowly, recovered and raced close to the fast early pace, came in tight while between runners, steadied off of heels nearing the nine-sixteenths marker and was shuffled back heading to the half-mile pole, chased the leaders into the turn, gained ground while two wide approaching the quarter marker, was outkicked into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
