THE DOORMAN settled off the pace along the inside, advanced at the rail around the far turn, tipped out near the quarter pole, split rivals in upper stretch, took over leaving the eighth pole and drove clear. BOLD ADVANCE tracked the pace three wide, took the lead in upper stretch, led past the eighth pole and was clearly second best. CLASSIC MO TOWN lacked early speed while racing four wide, moved up five wide around the far turn and rallied for the show. BELLY OF JELLY raced off the pace two wide and improved position in the lane. CHRISTENSEN dueled two wide to upper stretch and tired. TRUTH AND HONESTY raced off the pace three wide, steadied early on the backstretch, continued three wide around the far turn and lacked a rally. CAPTAIN ANTHONY broke awkwardly, raced five wide around first turn, made a middle move into contention down the backstretch, tracked four wide around the far turn came up empty in the lane. RACKET dueled at the rail to upper stretch, steadied while tiring nearing the eighth pole and offered no further bids. CANTARO broke outwardly and failed to menace while racing three and four wide. ARAK chased the pace three and four wide and faltered around the far turn.
