Chart notes
PICK A PENNY settled off the early leaders, moved up on the turn and with a bid from the five path in mid stretch proved best. WHISPER ME A SONG was hustled early from the inside, forced the pace on the turn and had the lead from the three path in mid stretch but was outgunned. LEMONSANDDIAMONDS showed speed from the inside, had a slim lead on the turn and vied through the stretch while all out. ALWAY'S ROSIE was in touch and raced evenly from the inside on the turn but needed more. SMART IRENE was unhurried early, trailed the field on the turn and had his best stride late. SOVEREIGN TALE was in range and roused on the turn but dropped back through the stretch.
