Chart notes
ZAMBONI WARRIOR broke in at the start, tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. CHANGE THE HOUR stumbled at the start, set a pressured pace on the inside, shook clear at the sixteenth pole, then was no match for the winner and was outfinished. JUANSEN rated outside the pace, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, weakened late and held the show. MAC'S CAT unhurried, looped four wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted in, then angled out late and could not gain. RECKLESS JONES well placed and outside, gained position two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and flattened out. GRUIT was never involved.
