Chart notes
BETTER HUMOR ME chased the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, gained to make a bid in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong, shook clear into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. FOXY CARA bumped with a rival at the start then bobbled, was urged along off the pace, was taken in hand briefly near the half-mile pole, went around the turn in the two path, spun three wide into the stretch then moved out around the three-sixteenths, gained in the final furlong and got up for the place. CUPRITE went to the front, set the pace with a clear advantage, vied inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the lead in upper stretch and was outfinished. BUSSIA leaned out at the start then bobbled, chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, gained to make an outside bid in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. MONETARY MONARCH was reluctant to load, lost her footing just after the start while awkwardly into stride, was urged along off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and improved position. TERESA was urged along off the pace, dropped back near the half-mile pole, went four then five wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. SWEET LIBERTY broke out at the start, settled off the pace, was urged three then four wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and was no factor. MALU bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and came up empty. ISLAND ROSE was forced out while last away, went three then four wide on the turn and showed little.
