Chart notes
ALEMAN well placed and inside, angled out while moving up through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear late. CERTAIN JUSTICE sprinted to a clear lead early, turned back a bid into the stretch, edging ahead, then was no match in the late going, while clearly best of the rest. SAM STORMY allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and flattened out. MISCHIEF WARRIOR tracked the pace through the first turn, angled out and rated outside that one to the second turn, gained a striking position through the turn, headed the leader and bid outside that one, then faded the final furlong. INAPPROPRIATE well placed and outside, lost some ground two and three wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and had no rally. UNSTABLE PRINCE was never involved.
