PICKENS vied for lead, drifted out slightly around the first turn, corrected entering the backstretch, challenged the leader around the final turn, drove clear and was all out, holding off a late running ZESTFUL for the win. ZESTFUL raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, made a late bid and finished willingly. FIRST GLIMPSE void of early speed, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a late gain, proved no match for the top two, but was a clear third. MUNQAD went to the front, drove clear and faded. BLAME J D raced in the middle of the field, put forth an even effort and lacked a rally. JANETS JAY JAY raced near the middle of the pack, weakened and was no threat late. DANCIN WITH ANGELS lacked early speed and was never a factor. GOTTA GO broke sharp, dropped back and was outrun.
