Chart notes
FUNNY MAN forwardly place from start, stalked the pace three wide under a firm hold, advanced steadily through the far turn to make the lead in upper stretch then widened the balance of the trip to win going away. C C'S CLEAR CREEK away alertly, set the pace along the inside into the far turn, dropped back a bit, shifted out to the four path, dug in gamely and gained second. SHORTLY prompted the pace two wide into the far turn, made the lead briefly then was outfinished. STREET MAX failed to menace. DONAHUE was no factor. TWELVE MINUS ONE with the second flight inside, was through after a half.
