Chart notes
SAINT SELBY pressed the pace on the inside, vied along the rail early on the turn, dropped back at the three-eighths pole, angled three then four wide shortly thereafter, gained to take the lead in upper stretch then kicked clear, remained clear into the final sixteenth and just held while shortening stride. CHARLIE FIVE O settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, angled out while gaining into upper stretch, pursued the winner into the final sixteenth, closed fast on that foe late and just missed while well clear for the place. GANDY DANCING dropped back under urging then moved out, was urged along on the outside, went five wide on the turn and narrowly earned the show. F F ROCKET was urged along off the pace, went three then four wide on the turn, drifted out some in the vicinity of the furlong marker and just missed the show. CHATEAU showed speed on the outside of a rival, vied in the two path on the turn, moved clear at the three-eighths, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and tired.
