Chart notes
SKI PATROL was hustled from the start, showed speed while off the inside, moved in late on the backstretch, dropped back along the rail with three furlongs to run, was driven four wide into upper stretch, gained to make a bid just inside the furlong marker and got up in the final sixteenth to prevail. THREE ZERO was hustled from the gate, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the two path on the turn, went clear with three furlongs to run, was asked for his best in the three path into upper stretch, led under a drive to the sixteenth-pole then was caught while clear for the place. BLUE PLATE SPECIAL broke a step slow, settled on the far outside, was urged four wide on the turn, came eight wide into upper stretch and finished willingly to just get the show. HATCH was urged early then tracked the pace, went three wide on the turn, spun five wide into upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and just missed the show. MOON WATCH (IRE) was urged along off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, came seven wide into upper stretch and lacked the needed response. BUILT TO LAST bumped solidly with a foe at the start, settled on the inside of an opponent, dropped back three to four wide on the turn, came eight wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. FLASH KISS bumped solidly with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, was urged along in the two path on the turn and faltered.
