Chart notes
CIRCLE P broke alertly then was rated back off the leaders, edged up off the rail leaving the far turn, moved boldly three to four wide approaching the stretch, responded when asked inside the three sixteenths and forged past JOLLY BOSS, was given a couple taps then drew out emphatically while steadily hand ridden the final sixteenth. JOLLY BOSS pressed two wide outside a rival, moved to command near the three eighths, briefly went clear under rating mid turn, came under a ride once collared from his outside entering the lane, ceded to the winner nearing mid stretch, faded late but had enough left to save the place. FORMAL AFFAIR saved ground, steadied near the three eighths, eased out and moved up between runners into the lane, came out past mid stretch and continued on with effort. THIS IS GOOD broke outward a bit, bumped with a rival then checked, covered to advance off the rail leaving the far turn, knifed his way three to four wide between runners nearing the stretch, angled out a bit for the final furlong and kept on trying. ALBERT FINNIGAN rated inside early, eased out then was stalled behind foes mid turn, dropped in to gain past the three sixteenths, angled out then went even late. NEVER GREW UP was checked when in tight between rivals soon after the break, gained five wide outside rivals leaving the five sixteenths but failed to sustain through the final three sixteenths. HANKSDIVININGROD broke slowly, raced well back early on, swung five wide into the lane and offered some late action. RETURN FIRE , bumped at the break, moved up and stalked off the inside, was lightly steadied in upper stretch and faded. HYTECK PRINCE stumbled at the break and failed to menace. SCRAPPY T LEE , four wide pursuing, raced between foes past the five sixteenths and weakened. ROCKET DRAGON rushed up inside to take command after a sixteenth, set a pressured pace, stayed on to the head of the lane then tired. NO WORRIES , bumped leaving the gate, gave early chase between rivals and tired in upper stretch.
