Chart notes
HEADING WEST tracked the early leaders from the outside, was a factor on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch prevailed. MAKES SENSE TO ME broke inward, had a mild gain on the turn and finished well. GETTING AHEAD was away alertly and dueled on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch was outfinished. ZAFEATHER was bumped at the break and roused on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch finished evenly. NICOLE'S SONG was bumped at the start and raced evenly from the inside on the turn but had no impact. SPIRIT BELLE showed speed from the inside but was headed on the turn and dropped back through the stretch. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON ZAFEATHER AGAINST MAKES SENSE TO ME FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE START RESULTED IN MAKE SENSE TO ME BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACE FOURTH.
