Chart notes
SHPILKES faded to last on the final turn, angled inside in the stretch and rallied clear in the final furlong. BATTER UP BUD trailed under rating early, moved wide and was up for the place late with good energy. CATCH THE SMOKE stalked the pace three wide, led at the quarter pole, bid clear then tired. BROTHER BRAD forced the pace in the two path then flattened out in the stretch. DIXIE'S TWO STENTS set a pressured pace inside, was collared at the quarter pole and faltered. ROMAN EMPIRE settled inside the dueling leaders, moved out into the stretch and flattened.
