Chart notes
CARBON broke in then was coaxed from the start, disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail early on the turn, was asked to pick it up with three furlongs to run, dropped back outside the five-sixteenths then shifted to the three path, gained to take the lead in upper stretch then shook clear, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. KARA PARA settled on the outside, went around the turn in the two path, was roused outside the quarter-pole, moved out into upper stretch and finished willingly for the place. RACING COLORS settled at the rear, angled in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, came three wide into the stretch and was along for the show. LAVON bumped with a rival at the start, was taken in hand briefly early then angled in, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. DASHING DELLA angled in while showing speed, contested the pace on the outside, vied in the three then two path on the turn, moved clear briefly at the five-sixteenths, lost the lead to the winner in upper stretch and weakened. BIG HAZEL settled in the second flight while inside of a foe, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. SAIL WITH THE WIND bumped with a foe at the start, moved out early then settled on the outside, was urged three to four wide on the turn and failed to respond. SHESASCOLDASICE settled towards the rear on the outside, was urged three wide on the turn and was no factor.
