FRANCESCO CLEMENTE (IRE) hesitated at the start then was taken up, spotted the front several lengths, was unhurried towards the back in the two to three path, moved to the four path late on the final turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, came six wide into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong, drifted in while gaining fast into the final sixteenth and got up under good handling to prevail. ROYAL SPIRIT bumped with a rival at the start, was hustled to the lead, showed the way while saving ground, extended the advantage on the far turn, drew off under the crop in upper stretch, remained clear into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. CYBER NINJA dropped back early, saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear in the two path, was roused on the final turn, came five wide into the stretch then moved further out and improved with late energy for the show. SWORE was reserved while racing in the three path, came under urging on the final turn, was driven five wide into the stretch and also improved position. OMNI KING floated five wide for most of the first turn then dropped to the four path, moved to the three path entering the stretch for the first time, was reserved in the three path, came under encouragement on the final bend, spun four wide into the stretch and also lacked the needed response. GHOSTLYPRINCE broke out at the start, was taken in hand before the first turn then rated on the inside, saved ground through the final turn, was asked while cutting the corner into the stretch and lacked the needed kick.
