Chart notes
SHANE'S JEWEL assumed the early lead, set the pace along the rail and pulled away through the stretch under mild coaxing. GALATIANS raced in the two path down the backstretch, was taken to the inner rail leaving the far turn, remained along the rail in the stretch and passed tired horses. UP AGAINST IT , three deep both turns, chased the pace to mid stretch then tired. HONOR THE FLEET prompted the pace outside the winner and gave way in upper stretch. VIRGINIA FULLA trailed racing along the inner rails on both turns, swung four wide in upper stretch and failed to rally. SPACE ODESSEY raced along the inner rail to the far turn and faltered.
