Chart notes
ROSE PALACE pressed the pace, took the lead around the second turn, drifted out entering the stretch, swung inward and pulled away. ANOTHER HOT MESS raced within striking distance, made a late bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. CLAY'S MOON STONE lacked early speed, made a steady gain, came around the final turn on the outside, finished wide and was a clear third. FIRED UP TIGER went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and faded. IZATIZ raced within contention, weakened and finished evenly. IT'SFIFTYSHADETIME lacked early speed, came around the second turn wide and was never close. EILEEN ALEXANDRA always raced near the back and showed little. THE JOCKEYS OF #5 ANOTHER HOT MESS AND #3 CLAY'S MOON STONE LODGED CLAIMS OF FOUL AGAINST #7 ROSE PALACE FOR INTERFERENCE COMING OUT OF THE FINAL TURN. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
