HIGHER QUALITY jostled with a rival nearing the first turn, set the pace on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the lead near the three-eighths pole, dropped back in upper stretch, fought back gamely in the final furlong, made a bid late and just missed while clear for the show. SIX PERCENT jostled with a foe nearing the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside in the two to three path, was asked on the far turn, led from the three-eighths pole to outside the quarter-pole then lost the advantage, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and weakened.
