COMMISSIONER H slow early lagged through the turn emerging in upper stretch surging clear in the closing yards. SECOND LIEUTENANT sent clear set the pace saving ground to upper stretch digging in along rail ceding late. HOPPERNESS raced evenly moving along the inside down the lane lacking surge there. CAPTAIN BERNARDO was pinched back at the break. RECTANGLE was never involved. WILDCAT HAGRID chased through the turn folding in upper stretch. FORT STROOPE displayed poor action after leaving the gate and was pulled up, walked off after the race.
