Chart notes
OAK HILL LG pressed the pace, had an outside trip, entered the final stretch 5wide, rallied and was going away at the end. GUITAR SLIM raced within striking distance, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a bid, couldn't catch the winner, but was best of others. DOCTOR LEO showed early speed, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the top two and held off a late challenge by JOEY'S GAME. JOEY'S GAME raced evenly near the middle of the pack, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a bid and missed the show position. BAYOU JAM raced in the middle of the field and finished evenly on the rail. CITY PARK lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. HEZA PICKLE void of early speed and passed tired ones. FLASHY PREMO raced in the middle of the field and faded. INTO WISHING dueled for the early lead and was finished early. JIMMIE'S HALO raced near the back, steadied around the first turn, getting in tight quarters and was never a threat.
