HEADLINE NEWS raced in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground to kick clear late. MAGISTRATE chased the leader from the two path through the opening half mile, challenged from the two path coming around the second bend and kept on to the finish, drifting out mildly near the wire. HARD TRAVELER raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, and improved position to the wire, racing in some traffic late. HARBOR MOON stalked the leaders between horses around the first turn and up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and finished evenly. HURRYING HOME stumbled at the start, raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, came around the far turn still in the two path, and passed tiring horses in the stretch. SNEAKING SUSPICION saved ground early, tracked the pace setter on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second bend and was outkicked from there. NOBEL SPEAKER saved ground around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and faded in the final furlong. SELASSIE raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and tired in the stretch. ANAHEIM stumbled leaving the gate, saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and made no bid.
