Chart notes
PEMAQUID PETE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway without challenge, drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. FLYING SCOTSMAN mid pack, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and closed well for the place. COMEDIC TIMING unhurried, angled out and moved up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and closed well for the show. GREY INVASION rated outside the leader, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch, then flattened the final furlong and held a share. CHOCOLATE PHILLING passed tiring rivals, outside. AMICUS BRIEF well placed and off the rail, faded through the second turn. WORBOTHOR was no factor.
