Chart notes
COMMUNICATIONISKEY vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, dueled between rivals down the lane and drove clear before the wire. COAL DANCER pressed the pace, saved ground around the final turn, drove clear entering the home stretch, was outfinished for the win, but held on for second. TAKE HER AWAY pressed the early pace, raced close throughout and was outfinished for second. STEEL GUITAR raced near the middle of the field, came around the second turn wide, made a mild bid, but was no factor. MY IDEA raced in the middle of the pack, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. DEAL PICKLE dueled on the front end and faded. COSTA LADY lacked early speed, improved position, but was no threat. COUSHATTA CUTIE raced near the middle of the field, came around the first turn five wide and retreated. HAY HAY GIRL always raced near the back and showed little. BIG STAR BABY void of early speed and was never close.
