Chart notes
PRINCE OF TRUTH chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the five-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch and was bumped by BEARY FUNNY looking to tip out to no avail, rallied to take command nearing the eighth pole, edged away briefly, then dug in and held safe to prevail. REFUAH coaxed from the gate, chased three to four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. BEARY FUNNY chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch and attempted to tip out bumping PRINCE OF TRUTH straightened away and was denied, angled in to the three path and kept on to secure the show honors. FLYING IN STYLE coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from VAUNTED to the outside, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch displaced from command and weakened in the late stages. VAUNTED four then three wide in aim of the leader, advanced to press that rival from the outside taking command just inside the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch in command, got displaced by the eventual winner inside the three-sixteenths and weakened to the finish. ESCAPE KEY chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, trailed throughout.
