Chart notes
FACE THE MUSIC dueled two wide between foes, edged ahead in the final sixteenth and fended off a late charge from the runner-up. ONE OF ONE raced off the pace three wide, swung five wide turning for home, closed outside and just missed. SPLURGE stalked the pace from the rail, bid nearing the quarter pole, dueled inside of the winner through much of the stretch and was outfinished. SEA PEARL broke a step slow, rushed up between foes, pressed the pace three wide, bumped KOTYLE in upper stretch and finished evenly. KOTYLE pressed the pace four wide, was bumped in upper stretch and was one-paced from there. LADY AZTECA raced off the pace two wide, angled five wide near the quarter pole and was no threat in the lane. LA RUNA failed to menace while racing five wide. ALWAYS ROYAL was outrun inside.
